On Thursday, 4 November 2010, 16 young, talented Hendriks Bouw en Ontwikkeling employees from Oss rolled up their sleeves for the day at the location Tuingroep De Nistel in Nistelrode.
This location is part of the Stichting Dichterbij [Dichterbij Foundation], which provides support to people with a mental impairment. By providing resources, relationships and counselling, our clients can live in society with confidence, says director Ms H. Flören.
The group of young talents from Hendriks was put together based on the idea of investing in attracting new, well-educated people. These are the employees who will have to fill the key positions at our company in future. A few times a year, the group of young talents organises an activity in order to get to know both each other and the Hendriks organisation a bit better.
On this day the Hendriks employees ensure together with a few very enthusiastic and helpful clients that the dilapidated chicken coop, guinea pig hutch and wood shed are once again as good as new. Sponsors Van Hoek Dakbedekkingen from Heeze and Koninklijke Jongeneel B.V. from Oss have already supplied all the materials needed. Everyone puts in a great effort and you can see the enjoyment on their faces.
‘It is a valuable thing that in these times, our people show their social commitment in this way,’ says Lambèr Hendriks, director of Hendriks Bouw en Ontwikkeling.
