At the corner of the Citadellaan and the Willem van Nassaulaan, exactly on the dividing line between De Muntel and De Vliert, housing corporation Zayaz and Hendriks Bouw en Ontwikkeling are developing a new small-scale project: De Cavalier. The present buildings will be replaced with fresh, new city housing, hip lofts and affordable apartments. The architect has been inspired by the construction styles in De Muntel/Vliert, so you will find a great deal of influence from the 30s. The advantage of the collaboration between Hendriks and Zayaz is that the new housing meets the construction requirements in effect and that you are guaranteed a fair purchase price, which is quite nice in these days!
Decent city housing with garden is rarely built near the inner city, and not at all in De Muntel/Vliert in particular, but this is happening right now as you can see! The concept is well thought out and serves a broad target group. Young families, starters, as well as the elderly, find their own place to live here next to the inner city of ‘s Hertogenbosch. A nice addition to this unique, vivacious urban housing district.
Sales of De Cavalier begin on Thursday 14 April. Zayaz, Hendriks and Boumij expect a great deal of interest in the city housing, lofts and flats.
If you would like to have a look at De Cavalier yourself, please do! A special architectural app has been made for this project (Layar App), which can be viewed on site with an iPhone or Android. It’s fun! Please see the De Cavalier website to find out more about this: www.wonenindecavalier.nl, or visit the mobile website m.wonenindecavalier.nl. Of course you can also pay a visit to Boumij estate agents at Hekellaan 6 to find out everything about this appealing project.
